A huge fire has erupted at an oil refinery in Lanzhou City, northwest China.

More than 33 fire engines and 200 crew have been dispatched to deal with the blaze that was reported just before 9am local time.

The fire has been blamed on an oil leak from the Gansu Province refinery, a branch of the state-owned China National Petroleum Corporation.
