The British singer Joe Cocker has did at the age of 70 after a battle with lung cancer.
The singer song-writer recorded 40 albums in a career spanning more than four decades.
He was best known for his cover of the Beatles’ With A Little Help From My Friends which reached number one in 1968.
He also won a Grammy in 1983 for his duet of Up Where We Belong with Jennifer Warnes.
Cocker continued touring around the world until his late 60s.
