Ukraine looks closer to getting a new prime minister.

A coalition of the country’s two main parties says it has agreed to back parliamentary speaker Volodymyr Groysman for the post.

President Poroshenko is expected to nominate Groysman for the job before parliament on Thursday.

Arseny Yatseniuk resigned as prime minister this week, after months of infighting in the coalition.

A cabinet reshuffle is also expected, described as the biggest shake-up in the government since an uprising in 2014 that brought in a pro-Western leadership.
