A six year old boy who died from injuries sustained in a shooting in South Carolina has been given a superhero-funeral.

A six year old boy who died from injuries sustained in a shooting in South Carolina has been given a superhero-funeral.

Jacob Hall was shot in the leg while in the playground of his local school. He later died of complications. A 14-year-old suspect who also shot dead his own father has been charged with the crime.

Around 1500 people attended the funeral. Many of the adults and children wore Batman or Superman costumes to honor Hall, who was a superhero fan.

Hall’s small coffin was adorned with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stickers and a toy, plus figurines of Captain America.
