US President Donald Trump mixed up two female journalists during a press conference with Finnish President Sauli Niinisto in Washington DC today (August 29).

Trump asked Niinisto if he wanted to give a second question to a reporter from the Finnish press, and when the president signalled out a journalist, the US president, believing that his counterpart had picked the same person a second time, asked: “Again? You’re gonna give her — the same one?”

“No, she is not the same lady,” Niinisto was quick to point out, explaining that the previous question was asked by another reporter that was sat beside this one.

“We have a lot of blonde women in Finland,” quipped the journalist before asking her question.

The two women later posed for a photograph that was posted on Twitter.
