Taylor Swift has met with the families of the London girls who were harmed at the Southport stabbing attack, which took place last month.

The pop superstar welcomed the families backstage during her five-night stint at Wembley Stadium, Swift’s final dates in Europe as part of her worldwide Eras Tour.

In the photos posted to TikTok by one mother, Sami Foster, who met Swift with her daughters, Hope and Autumn, at Wembley, Swift poses with the two girls, with one wearing a bandage covering her left forearm.

Swift’s mother, Andrea Swift, is also seen posing with Foster’s family.

“You drew stars around my scars...,” Foster wrote in her caption, referencing Swift’s song ‘Cardigan’. “The biggest thankyou to @Taylor Swift and her mum for making the most magical night possible for us all - thankyou for bringing Hope & Autumn pure happiness last night & always.”

There has not been any confirmation of how many families Swift has met, although it was reported that Foster’s family is not the only one to meet the singer.

Swift has not publicized or publicly acknowledged the meetings herself. She did, however, release a statement after the attack occurred: “The horror of yesterday’s attack in Southport is washing over me continuously, and I’m just completely in shock... The loss of life and innocence, and the horrendous trauma inflicted on everyone who was there, the families and first responders. These were just little kids at a dance class. I am at a complete loss for how to ever convey my sympathies to these families.”

It was reported prior to the start of her Wembley run that the singer had privately reached out to the families of the three girls killed in the attack on 29 July - Bebe King, 6, Elsie Dot Stancombe, 7, and Alice Dasilva Aguiar, 9.

The deadly attack took place at a dance class themed to Swift’s music on 29 July. Eight other children and two adults were also injured in the incident. A 17-year-old boy was arrested and charged with three counts of murder, 10 counts of attempted murder and possession of a bladed weapon.

Swift’s five-night run at Wembley come in the wake of the cancellation of three nights in Vienna, after authorities averted a planned terror attack there.

Swift has one more night in London before wrapping her European leg of the Eras Tour and taking a two-month break. She heads back to North America and will end the Eras Tour in Canada: Toronto (14, 15, 16, 21, 22 and 23 November) and Vancouver (6, 7 and 8 November).
