Thousands of spectators gathered in Madrid on Saturday to celebrate St Patrick’s Day with a vibrant parade featuring traditional Irish music, dancing and cultural performances.

Around 1,300 participants and nearly 700 bagpipers marched through the streets of the Spanish capital, filling the city with Celtic sounds and festive energy. Performers in green kilts played bagpipes and drums, while dancers in traditional Irish costumes entertained crowds along the route.

St Patrick's Day is celebrated annually on March 17 in honour of Ireland’s patron saint and has become a global celebration embraced by Irish communities around the world.
